I intended to design this light so that it could make you feel peaceful and comfortable to live with, as if it had been there as an inseparable part of your space, though rarely noticed. To a sheet of square paper I applied the delicate art of traditional 'Origami' --- the art of folding paper into various shapes, and created concave and convex folds and curved lines. This can be a part of any light fixture, which you can adjust to your interior designs and to your tastes, and change freely and limitlessly. That is why I named it "MU-GEN". 'Mugen' means 'No Limit'. When you put the light on, the shadow it projects will change according to the way you compose it. This is also a characteristic of my design. |
